Taekwondo South West
Tae Kwon-Do South West is the collective name for the TAGB Tae Kwon-Do schools based in the South West of England
These schools are lead by Senior Area Instructor, and Grand Master, Michael Dew - 9th Degree Black Belt.
Since 1975 the South West has lead the way in quality Tae Kwon-Do tuition. With over 100 schools based here, we are part of the largest dedicated Tae Kwon-Do Association in Europe.
British Taekwondo Council
The British Taekwondo Council is recognised by Sports UK as the National Governing Body for Taekwondo in the UK.
The BTC was established in conjunction with Sports Councils to unify and oversee the development of Taekwondo in the UK. It caters for all styles of Taekwondo, ITF, Kukkiwon and Independents.
Taekwondo Association of Great Britain
The Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain is Europe's largest single martial arts organisation, with over 20,000 members training in over 600 clubs throughout the UK.
TAGB instructors are highly qualified, accredited individuals with many years' experience in teaching mixed classes which often include young children and disability groups. Training in Tae Kwon-Do can start at any age.
Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts recognises clubs or providers in England who have demonstrated that they have reached and maintained good safeguarding standards.
The scheme empowers parents, carers and educational establishments to make informed decisions when selecting a club or provider for their child/children, young people or adults in their care.
